1955-1975 Vietnam War Propaganda Poster and Military Art Collection:The Vietnam War was a military conflict which started 1.Nov 1955 and ended 30.April 1975, lasting 19 years and 180 days. This war occurred in the countries of South Vietnam, North Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. North Vietnam and Vietcong (communist guerrilla fighting in South Vietnam) won and South Vietnam disappeared and the Vietnam united under the name of Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Participants in this war was: France, USA, South Vietnam, South Korea, Australia, Philippines, New Zealand, Thailand, Khmer Republic, Kingdom of Laos and Republic of China(=Taiwan) with the support from Spain against the communist forces: North Vietnam, Vietcong, Khmer Rouge, Pathet Lao and North Korea and supporting countries People’s Republic of China, Soviet Union and Cuba.
