1914-1918 World War I
World War I, also called as The Great War, was the first conflict which got the whole world more of less involved and the war actions happened everywhere in the world. This war was the last one which was fought between soldiers and had a minimal impact for the civilians. The participants were Allied (Entente) Powers, mainly France, Great Britain, Russian Empire and finally the United States against Central Powers, Austria-Hungary, Germany, Ottoman Empire (Turkey) and Bulgaria between 28. July 1914 – 11.November 1918. The War resulted for the victory of Allied forces and redraw of the European Map and loss of the German colonies in Africa.
